About this campground
De Mulkerij is a charming mini-campsite located in Tienen. This small-scale location in the heart of the Hageland offers campers an authentic nature experience within the historic city walls, with a view of the Gete Valley.
In this former farmhouse behind our private home, you can camp with a tent (on the tent field), campervan, or caravan (of restricted size).
The owners create a unique, welcoming atmosphere where simplicity and personal contact take center stage. We try to keep our offering small and cozy, but are ambitious to continuously take steps regarding sustainability (Green Key certified).
From here, you can easily visit the Hageland (Flemish Brabant), Haspengouw (Limburg), and the Walloon Brabant Loam Region, ideally suited for beautiful walking and cycling tours through the rolling landscape. But you are also close to other cities such as Leuven, Diest, Sint-Truiden... On the cycling network, you will find the Mulkerij between junction 42 and 44, close to walking junction 248. It is also easily accessible by public transport and car.
